Exhibitor registration for IFAT Munich
Secure your slice of success with your stand at IFAT Munich.
Application as main exhibitor
Anyone wishing to participate at IFAT Munich as an exhibitor must apply online as a main exhibitor. The application is not binding. How you can apply, and what you should pay attention to, is explained in our application process.
Main exhibitors who wish to have co-exhibitors at their stand must register them online as well. The registration for co-exhibitors takes place separately. Further information can be found under the section co-exhibitor.
Tip: If possible, please use the browser Google Chrome in order to fill in the online application form. In other browsers display problems may occur.

Important information on using the Messe München Account for exhibitor registration
1. You don't have a Messe München account yet? Please register. You will receive an e-mail with a verification code, which you must confirm within 60 minutes.
2. You already have a Messe München account? Please log in with your access data.
3. Your previous access data doesn't work? Use the "Forgot password" function or register again if necessary.
Note: Did you last use your Messe München account before April 2024? In this case, a new registration may be necessary due to a system change. This requires a password consisting of at least 12 characters with upper- and lower-case letters, number(s) and special characters.
New trade fair run: IFAT Munich 2026 - May 4 to 7
IFAT Munich is on a growth trajectory, as the exhibitor and visitor numbers for the 2024 event have impressively demonstrated. A key part of this success story is that the world's leading trade fair has always been able to adapt flexibly to new developments and the needs of visitors and exhibitors. After extensive analysis and in close consultation with companies and associations, it was decided to shorten the duration from five to four days IFAT Munich 2026 will therefore take place from May 4 to 7, 2026 (Monday to Thursday). More on this in the current press release.
Why is IFAT Munich being shortened?
Over the years, we have received more and more feedback that Friday unfortunately no longer attracts as many visitors as the days before. Many exhibitors have requested that this day be shortened or canceled. In close consultation with companies and associations, Messe München has decided to shorten the duration from five to four days. At the same time, we are conserving the resources of our exhibitors and visitors.
Why do I still find the old trade fair date in some places on the website and in the documents and on the website?
We are currently in the process of successively updating all documents. This will take a few days. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Will the set-up and dismantling times change?
The set-up and dismantling times for IFAT Munich will be adjusted accordingly. Further information will be available shortly in our B-Conditions.
Will the opening hours of IFAT Munich change?
No, the opening hours will remain unchanged. The trade fair will be open from 9 am to 6 pm.
Why was a different date initially communicated?
We made the decision these days together with the Advisory Board and the Executive Board of IFAT Munich. Only the latest exhibitor and visitor surveys and the discussions following IFAT Munich 2024 have prompted us to shorten the 2026 event.
How will you ensure that Thursday remains well attended as the new “last day of the fair”?
To ensure that the last day of the trade fair is just as lively and well-attended as the previous days, we will also provide an attractive program of events on Thursday. This means that there will continue to be exciting talks, presentations and networking opportunities on the last day of the trade fair. We are also focusing on increased communication and marketing activities that emphasize the importance of the last day of the event and maintain interest until the end. In this way, IFAT Munich 2026 will remain an attractive event for the entire duration.
Will anything change in terms of prices?
The prices for IFAT Munich 2026 will remain unchanged. We are convinced that the attractiveness of IFAT Munich will not suffer from the shortened duration. On the contrary, the shorter duration means that resources will be conserved and we expect significant efficiency gains for exhibitors and visitors. We are convinced that the quality and attractiveness of the trade fair will remain high and even increase. This means that we will continue to fully deliver on our promise to organize the world's leading solution platform for environmental technologies with IFAT Munich.
The application process step by step
Main exhibitor application
We are pleased that you would like to participate in IFAT Munich as a main exhibitor. Please read the following instructinos carefully; they contain important information regarding the application process. All further information on preparing your trade-fair participation can be found under Tips, Dates & Deadlines.
Please note: Upon application, only the stand space itself is booked; stand building and equipment are not included. These and various other services can be booked later, after successful registration and accepted placement proposal, via the Exhibitor Shop.
How to apply
- Take note of the Conditions of Participation A and Technical Guidelines, Conditions of Participation B and the other documents listed below, in particular the information regarding stand design and special exhibits.
- Switch to the online application and enter all required data. Please do not forget to submit them at the end.
- The registered company is the contractual partner and thus the invoice recipient. If a different invoice recipient is desired, the trade-fair management must be informed as early as possible by e-mail to application@ifat.de and an appropriate form must be requested. Subsequent invoice changes will be charged with 50 EUR.
- The contact named in the application will receive the placement proposal as well as the access data for the IFAT Munich Exhibitor Shop.
The deadline for application is April 30th, 2025. Later applications will be on our waiting list.

Application for co-exhibitors
Main exhibitors who wish to register co-exhibitors for participation in IFAT Munich can do so online using an individual link. The registration is mandatory.

You will find the individual link for registering your co-exhibitors in your application confirmation, which you received after completing the online application. The link will also be available in your online application account after you have registered. Under "My applications", select the "co-exhibitors" icon next to the current status; here you will find the appropriate registration link.
