The sound management of plastic waste is a global challenge with far reaching environmental, economic and social implications. The world is currently negotiating a mutually agreed upon instrument to tackle this issue. It needs tremendous effort and discussions from various sectors including the waste and resource management sector. This Davos-style interactive session will discuss how the "upstream producers" can work together with "downstream waste managers" to transition to a more circular economy by working together on the sound management of plastic waste. 

Our target audience are decision and policy makers, waste experts, engineers, NGOs/CBOs, researchers, and investors. They will be reached out to via social media, newsletters, other communication channels.
