GoGreen Exhibitors
Consistently designing your own trade fair presence in all its facets to be sustainable is a challenging task that can only be achieved with holistically conceived and implemented sustainability concepts. This is precisely the attitude and concepts we are looking for: companies that make their IFAT Munich presence more resource-efficient and sustainable with clear measures, thereby becoming GoGreen Exhibitors.
Spotlight on the Sustainability Concepts of GoGreen Exhibitors
At IFAT Munich 2026, selected GoGreen Exhibitors will not only showcase their products, services, and solutions, but also their comprehensive and consistent sustainability concepts, which encompass the areas of overall planning, booth construction, booth furnishings, and catering—thus demonstrating how sustainable trade show participation is already a reality today.
You are welcome to learn more about the individual concepts directly at the booths of this year’s GoGreen Exhibitors—FAUN Umwelttechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Veolia, Zöller-Kipper GmbH, ITAD, SIMONA AG, and Siemens AG—or get an overview here below.
GoGreen Exhibitors 2026
Since 2018, Veolia has been committed to a consistently sustainable booth concept at IFAT Munich. The core principle is reuse: furniture, flooring, and wall panels are professionally stored after each trade show and refurbished as needed so they can be reused at the next event. This significantly reduces waste and resource consumption.
A special highlight is the Veolia Tree—an artistic installation made from a reusable steel frame. Berlin-based artists individually attach the same latticework to the frame at every IFAT Munich, creating a unique, spreading tree canopy from the bottom up. Without fixed assembly instructions, a one-of-a-kind piece is created each time, combining sustainability with creativity.
Sustainability is also a top priority when it comes to catering: regional and seasonal products, as well as a balanced selection of vegetarian and meat-based dishes, minimize the ecological footprint. Food is served exclusively on porcelain and glass—there is no place for disposable tableware. A separate, needs-based lunch option is available for employees.
The concept combines ecological responsibility, resource conservation, and artistic design into a holistic approach that brings sustainability to life at every level.

Our presence at trade shows is based on a holistic approach guided by the principle of “Avoid – Reduce – Offset.” We make sustainability transparent and tangible: through the use of reusable booth components instead of custom-built structures, short supply chains, and regional partners, as well as a consistent catering policy that avoids single-use tableware and prioritizes plastic-free, regional (and, where possible, seasonal and organic) products. Unavoidable emissions are offset by investing in recognized projects that reduce emissions worldwide. More info: www.faun.com/gogreen.

ZÖLLER-KIPPER’s trade show presence is based on a holistic, sustainable concept that integrates environmental, social, and economic responsibility at every stage—from planning and setup to follow-up. For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a core part of our business practice: We rely on circular, modular, and reusable stand construction elements, use high-quality materials from FSC-certified sources, and reduce our ecological footprint through efficient logistics and energy-efficient lighting.
Stand furnishings also follow this principle: Rental furniture minimizes resource and transportation costs, promotional materials are durable, reusable, and carefully selected, and informational materials are provided digitally via QR codes and NFC to save paper. The cleaning service provider uses environmentally certified products and avoids single-use items, while waste is consistently sorted during setup and dismantling.
We demonstrate our social responsibility through fair working conditions, collaborative partnerships with service providers, and barrier-free booth design. Mobility and logistics are made sustainable through carpooling, optimized transport routes, and low-emission vehicles. Catering also follows clear criteria: regional, seasonal, predominantly vegetarian, with reusable tableware and consistent waste separation. This makes our sustainable trade show presence as ZÖLLER-KIPPER clearly tangible.

Do good and talk about it—we live by this motto not only as an industry but also through our ITAD joint booth. For over ten years, we’ve been demonstrating how trade show appearances can be sustainable without sacrificing impact.
For us, sustainability begins long before the first day of the trade show. We collaborate with our co-exhibitors online, avoid in-person meetings, rely on rail travel when necessary, and ensure that transportation emissions are minimized as much as possible.
Our booth itself follows a clear principle: materials and equipment are selected to remain in use for many years—supplemented by “renting instead of buying” where it makes sense, as well as paperless communication.
This also applies to the on-site experience. Regional cuisine and an organization that conserves resources are standard for us—just as much as a team that shares this commitment. Because our joint presentation is only credible if everyone is on board: service providers, co-exhibitors, speakers, and us as hosts.
And after the trade show? We make sustainability visible: through communication that inspires rather than lectures. This also includes comprehensive carbon accounting as well as offsetting where emissions remain unavoidable despite all measures.
The ITAD joint booth is not meant to be a drop in the bucket. It is designed to inspire, share knowledge, and demonstrate that sustainable decisions can be made throughout the entire value chain: from project planning to follow-up. We see ourselves as pioneers and are constantly striving to do even better: more sustainably, more fairly, and more consistently.

For Siemens, participating as a GoGreen Exhibitor is not an end in itself, but rather the logical expression of a holistic strategy. Even if initiatives in the areas of mobility or sustainability reporting do not directly factor into the evaluation, they are essential for Siemens to reinforce its credibility as a technology leader.
Even if all these efforts ultimately lead “only” to greener pastures, cleaner air, and a more inclusive society—without every single KPI immediately showing a monetary ROI—this is still the only right path. Because, as Roland Busch often emphasizes: We are building the infrastructure for future generations.
Siemens at IFAT Munich 2026 means:
- Complete transparency through digital CO₂ accounting.
- A circular booth concept with minimal resource consumption.
- Active inclusion in communication and booth design.
- Collaborative innovation through the integration of local networks.
We look forward to jointly highlighting these measures as part of the external communications for IFAT Munich 2026 and leading the way as a model for sustainable trade fairs.

Ingenuity breeds success.
We are harnessing our strengths on the path toward a sustainable future.
SIMONA is recognized as one of the world’s leading specialists in the field of thermoplastics. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected not only in our portfolio—which includes products made from bio based raw materials as well as solutions aimed at mitigating climate change—but also in our continuous efforts to reduce our carbon footprint at an operational level.
We have once again consistently applied this approach to the design of our exhibition stand at IFAT Munich. Together with mac.brandspaces (mac), we have further developed our sustainable IFAT 2024 stand concept, which is based on the six Rs: Reduce, Replace, Reuse, Retain, Recycle and Rebalance. The result: more than 90% of our IFAT exhibition stand consists of modular and reusable materials. Elements such as logos, furniture, and selected exhibits are reused at various events.
In addition, we deliberately integrate our own products—such as sheets and pipes—as design elements, thereby further reducing our carbon footprint. These are manufactured at our ISCC certified plant, recycled after the trade fair, and returned to our production cycle. And what about non reusable materials? Wood panels are used in mac’s incineration system to heat its facilities.
As ingenious as our contribution to the energy transition – experience it for yourself at our exhibition stand.
