Feras Althuniyan is the General Manager of Sustainability at Saudi Water Authority (SWA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As part of his position, Feras has led multiple strategic initiatives that aim to advancing sustainability and driving impactful change in the water sector of KSA. He also oversees the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across the water value chain. Feras holds a master’s degree from Miami University in the USA, and bachelor’s degree from Trent University in Canada.
Prior to joining SWA, Feras was the Sustainability Manager at Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), and served as an environmental consultant for Miami University and the City of Oxford in the USA, in the field of resilience assessment, climate adaptation, and GHGs emissions and analysis.
