DVGW has developed a full set of standards for newbuilding of hydrogen pipelines as well as conversion of gas grids for the use of hydrogen. These rules and regulations are based on extensive research over the last 10 years as well as multiple field tests. The DVGW set of standards also ensure sage operation of the future hydrogen infrastructure.
